Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali

Shaykh al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali was born in Baghdad 736 AH. He studied in Egypt and Damascus where he settled down until he died. He was a devoted studier of Hadith and was one of the most prominent students of Ibn al-Qayyim and al-Hafiz Abu Fadhl al-Iraqi. He became an expert in hadith and fiqh through the understanding of the Hanbali madhab. He was well noted for his righteousness and piety. He was considered a true practicer of zuhd, and was never seen involved in wordy affairs or materialism. We present to you a collection of his works translated into english Insha’Allah.
